I am a director, cinematographer, editor and screenwriter. I also create motion graphics, visual effects and sound design. I am always seeking positions with national and international filmmaking studios and production companies. I am available to work on independent films as well. My national & international background in the arts, event and stage productions expand for over 30 years. I have attended, participated & coordinated numerous fine art events, expos, trade conventions, fashion, interior design and theatrical productions.

I am a proud U.S. Veteran as well. When I lived in Germany, the Berlin Wall came tumbling down which was an affirmation for me because of my late father. Detroit Police Sergeant Victor Cullen Wells, Sr served his country in WWII on the beaches of Normandy and North Africa. Soon after Germany became whole, Nelson Mandela was released from prison in South Africa. Epic world events like these fueled my imagination and drive me to advocate, create & express all that I've experienced through the medium of art & film in all of its aspects & genres.

I've directed, participated and produced talent shows on military bases to celebrate these pivotal occasions for our troops with the USO in Germany. Most notably, I held the position of Executive Director for The Julia Morgan Center for the Performing Arts in Berkeley, CA. At the time, it was the third largest performing arts venue in the Bay Area. Each year we produced ballet, comedy shows, musical groups, operatic productions, theatre and international performing arts companies. Helping to achieve JMCA's Berkeley Historical Landmark status. What an honor that was.

How did it all begin your ask? I've promoted actors, artists, community talent & live bands both in Detroit, MI, Bitburg AFB in Germany, San Francisco & Solano County, CA. While at the JMCA in the late 90s I was recruited to provide talent for a casting director for a major motion picture filming in Alameda County. That was on the set of Frances Ford Coppola's, "The Rainmaker" in 1997. I haven’t looked back. I moved to Las Vegas in 2010, with the encouragement and support from my late mother Mrs. Bernice Dooley-Wells. I have participated at CES, MAGIC, NAB and World Market. Most recently in March of 2016, I worked backstage assisting talent & crew during the live taping of The 31st Annual Stellar Awards held at The Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. SO - Moving forward in my new Digital Filmmaking and Video Production and Broadcasting career, I plan to write, director, edit & produce documentaries, short films and narratives. I am also aiming for the film industry and for the film festival markets all around the world.
I will strive to polish my directing, editing & screenwriting skills and as time goes by. I look forward to working with others to create great films. My favorite synonym for the word film is transparency, my type of storytelling. In my DNA I've inherited a strong determination to continue striving, a fiery trait inside of me. Those who have helped and inspired me to this point help me find the courage to follow my dreams.
